Darryl Burke, DDS
Dr. Burke was born and raised in the Chicago area. He graduated high school in 1985. He attended Loyola University- Lake Shore campus, in 1988, where he decided to take the Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) exam and apply for dental school before he received his Bachelor of Science. He got accepted and received his dental degree in 1992 from Loyola School of Dentistry in Maywood, Illinois.
After graduation, he practiced and concentrated on full mouth rehabilitation and occlusion. He was a dentist in the town of Cicero, Illinois. There he spent his time helping the less fortunate doing lots of surgery by removing infected teeth, pediatric dentistry and stabilizing patients that needed the help. In 1996, Dr. Burke moved to California. In 1998, he stated his own practice focusing on general, family, and cosmetic dentistry. In 2004, after outgrowing his current location, he purchased a building and built a new practice that could better serve his patients and the surrounding community.
Dr. Burke has been restoring implants since 2000. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Contra Costa Association and the California State Dental Society. He is a graduate of the Engel Institute, where he learned surgical placement of implants, advanced surgical and grafting techniques to full mouth reconstruction. Now he is now a mentor of the Engel Institute teaching other dentists to place implants and grafting techniques. He is also a moderator for Engelspace.com were alumni of the Engel Institute post cases and ask advise from the moderators to help them with surgical implant dentistry.
He utilizes guided surgery by the use of Cone Beam technology and surgical stents provide by companies such as Anatomage. Dr. Burke has his own in office "Green CT" machine by Vatech. He can provide superior technology to allow for fast and accurate diagnosis. He has performed many successful surgeries involving immediate extraction and placement, implant placements, and all-over-four implant denture placement by using guided surgery techniques.
Dr. William Milcovich
We are pleased to announce the addition of our new associate Dr. William Milcovich to our growing practice. He will begin his practice with us in June. Dr. Milcovich graduated from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in June of 2015.
Our practice has been growing and we have reached the point where additional help is needed in order to serve our patients. We conducted a thorough search and we are really excited we found William. He is friendly, funny, and very down to earth and fits in wonderfully to our dental family. With the addition of a new provider, existing patients may worry that they won’t be able to see Dr. Burke anymore. We are committed to maintain access to Dr. Burke. In fact, this is one of our driving forces for bringing in a new provider. Dr. Milcovich will be able to see patients when needed with more flexibility with his schedule and also when Dr. Burke is not available.
Dr. Milcovich is a San Francisco Bay Area native. Dr. Milcovich is well trained. He went to University of the Pacific and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Studio Art and also went to California State University East Bay doing a Post-Baccalaureate Program in Biochemistry. He completed all of the achievements prior to him receiving his Doctorate in Dentistry In June 2015 with honors from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Dr. Milcovich also spent 3 years in the Navy a got a lot of amazing experience in all facets of dentistry. Aside from basic restorative dentistry, Dr. Milcovich also offers an array of aesthetic services including porcelain veneers, teeth whiting, smile evaluation and aesthetic sculpting as well as emergency services, root canals, periodontal treatment, and oral surgery. He is also in the process of becoming an Invisalign certified doctor. Dr. Milcovich is well versed with Implant dentistry and has completed the Garg Implant Continuum and has a fellowship in the International Dental Implant Association. With his expertise, he will be able to offer patients minimally invasive long lasting dentistry.
Dr. Milcovich takes pride in comprehensive quality dentistry. During his appointments, Dr. Milcovich will make sure to clearly diagnose and explain treatment options with his patients. All questions will be answered so that the decisions of treatment will be made based on the patient’s knowledge.
Dr. Milcovich enjoys being active and exploring the outdoors and traveling. He enjoys hiking, skiing, swimming, and playing water polo. He is passionate about creating art through painting, drawing, and photography. He has also spent many years doing volunteer dental work by teaching youth and fellow peer’s the importance of dental health and healthy nutrition.
