Dr. Burke was born and raised in the Chicago area. He graduated high school in 1985. He attended Loyola University- Lake Shore campus, in 1988, where he decided to take the Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) exam and apply for dental school before he received his Bachelor of Science. He got accepted and received his dental degree in 1992 from Loyola School of Dentistry in Maywood, Illinois.
After graduation, he practiced and concentrated on full mouth rehabilitation and occlusion. He was a dentist in the town of Cicero, Illinois. There he spent his time helping the less fortunate doing lots of surgery by removing infected teeth, pediatric dentistry and stabilizing patients that needed the help. In 1996, Dr. Burke moved to California. In 1998 he started his own practice focusing on general, family and cosmetic dentistry. In 2004, after outgrowing his current location, he built a new facility to better serve his patients and the surrounding community. In 2017 with continued growth, Dr. Burke expanded again and moved to his current location at 2975 Treat Blvd, in Concord California.
Dr. Burke’s passion has always been helping others achieve the ability to eat and chew and smile again after they have lost their teeth. Since graduation, Dr Burke has taken numerous hours in continuing education involving Implant dentistry. After hours of dedicated study didactically and clinically, Dr Burke added surgical implant dentistry as one of all the many procedures that he can do in the office without having to refer to a specialist. With all his experience and collaboration with other top clinicians in the field, Dr. Burke became an educator to help other clinicians in his field achieve the knowledge that he has learned to make the profession better for all the patients in need.
Since 2014, Dr Burke has trained over 1000 dentists in surgical implant dentistry. In 2020, Dr Burke formed the Burke Implant Academy, where he offers various live surgical courses for dentists to come and learn surgical implant placement, extraction and bone grafting, sinus lifts, to very advanced All on X full arch surgery and its restorative aspects.
On a personal note, Dr Burke is married with two wonderful boys. In his free time, he loves to be on his Peloton and spend time with his family. Both boys are involved with soccer. Their oldest boy is graduating high school this year and plans to go into mechanical engineering and their youngest son will be going into middle school next year. Dr Burke and his wife like to go out and try new dining experiences when they can.
